horror and the macabre have been an integral part of fashion as we know it from the very beginning. from the ghoulish garb of plague doctors, to Alexander Mcqueens’ utterly haunting 2001 “Voss” Spring/Summer collection, nothing captures the inherent violence and mortality of human life more than fashion.

i am to digitally archive and record all things related to horror&fashion. this includes costuming within horror movies, runways that have explicit and subtle elements of horror, historical fashion, and much more. i hope i can make IBC a hub for the intersection of the horrific and the sublime.
